The Covenant Church Married Life Ministry focuses on the needs and challenges facing the family unit in today’s society. We provide activities, support and faith-based counseling at every stage of married life from pre-marital to empty nest.
 
Our mission is to equip families with tools to build strong marriages, raise Godly children and impact their communities.  
 
Areas within Married Life Ministry include:

  •     Weddings

Premarital Classes
The Married Life Department is excited to offer a new curriculum entitled "Preparing For Marriage" from FamilyLife. Each couple will be assigned a pre-marital coach that will meet with them before and after the pre-marital class. The cost for this class is $90 for books, materials, and lunch.
 
This class and the following coaching sessions are required for any Covenant Church member utilizing our facility and for any member or non-member desiring to be married by a Covenant Church Pastor. Please register by calling 940.365.1395.




Making Marriages Miraculous

Making Marriage Miraculous is a ministry that will provide guidance and direction through the Word of God that will undergird couples that may be experiencing difficulty in their marriage relationship. We believe that God wants marriages to be blessed, to flourish, and to thrive. Blessed marriages will lead to a strong family structure that will carry over to the churches that we attend, to the communities in which we live, and then to the cities and to the nations. As the Spirit of the Lord begins to equip us with the essential skills and elements that we need to maximize the important covenant relationship of marriage, we expect a miraculous shift in all of the marriages that come in contact with this ministry. We will provide the following: *A marriage Lifeteam that meets once a month (usually the last Sat. of each month) *Premarital coaching/counseling * Coaching/counseling for couples that have been married for some time - tools for a successful marriage - what the bible says about the roles of husbands and wives - how praying together helps resolve marital conflicts And much much more....
